WA: Powerlines Meet-and-Greet June Long Weekend

    Hey All,

A saturday night gig has destroyed my chances of a weekend escape, and its been awhile since I've organized a run, so I'm thinking of running a meet-and-greet at the Mundaring Powerlines (it's been awhile) over the long weekend.

Either Saturday or Monday would get my vote, but I'll leave that to the jury to decide. I know a few people are going to be away, but I'll run it anyhow.

All WA members are welcome, modified or not, whether its your first time 4wding or you're 500th. I'm not looking to destroy panels, but more or less to meet some new WA Pajero crew, will be happy to guide people through the trickier sections if required.

Further details will be posted closer to the weekend.

Look forward to seeing you there.

Can we move to another weekend.

We (Bubs and partner) always head away for every long weekend.

Can we schedule it for the following weekend. Really keen to come along for a meet and greet. We can also have a WA showdown?? There's a few lifted and locked paj's around that are very impressive on the PL.

great idea for a trip, thanks.

Any day and time suits me, that's because I'm a retired old bloke who still goes everywhere anyone else goes, or where they don't go too. Please keep this trip posted because it is just what I have been waiting for... I was the first trip leader to do a trip on the powerline with the light weight club back in about '86, I still have the trophy of the best trip for the year, now every man and his dog goes along it, and a lot of them stuff it up for those following through lack of track ettiquete. It's a great drive and a good challenge still, I put my Pajero over it about a month after buying the car, I didn't even understand how the stability control and MATTE system worked, I have better knowledge now.

I'm considering changing this trip date to the following Sunday (13th June) if it will suit people better. Thought this might be the case for the long weekend.

So who CAN'T come on that date (13th June).

I can supply sausages and a bbq. Can someone bring some bread?
