Ex Rental NX

Hi All,

First time poster - long time lurker.
Minister of Finance has given the all clear for a Paj to join the family. Something to get me out light 4wd driving and road trips.

What do you guys think about an ex rental?
I saw and drove one today, youngish NX and low km's, apart from minor cosmetic items it looked and drove really well, had all services done. But I was wonder what the general consensus is on buying and ex rental 4wd?

Ex rental shouldn't be any different than just buying used.
My last 2 Pajeros were used, both had just over 110,000 kms on when I bought them, and both gave excellent service. My 2000 manual diesel had 230,000 kms on it when I traded it, and my 2005 NP auto diesel did 280,000

Not sure if they’re still there but only 3-4 weeks ago there were heaps of ex NSW Police Pajeros available in Sydney dealers for around $31,000 and heaps of extras. I got one with 86,000km on it.

Hey al,

Thanks for the replies. I found a few recent threads that were helpful too.

Bought it today 2016 NX with 40k on the dial.
