Castrol Transmax Dexron-VI Mercon LV ATF fluid

The Castrol lube selector nominates this oil as a replacement ATF fluid for the NX but says “*outside the warranty period”. Just confirming that this means it’s useable and will theoretically work okay but it’s not an exact match for the specifications so they won’t warrant it. Is that the most correct understanding of that statement?

I couldn’t find where it said ATF PA suitable anywhere until I found this in the product data sheet:

    Product Performance Claims
    MERCON[emoji2400] LV
    DEXRON[emoji2400] VI
Suitable for use where JASO 1A(03)
JASO 1A LV(13) is required including:
Toyota T III, T IV, WS
Mitsubishi SP II, IIM, III, IV, PA, J3
    Mazda ATF M-III, M-V, FZ
    Honda/Acura DW 1/Z 1
    Nissan Matic D, J, S
    JWS 3314/3317/ 3309, Suzuki AT Oil 5D06, 2384K
    Isuzu
    Subaru F6, Red 1
Daihatsu AMMIX ATF D-III Multi, D3-SP
    Hyundai/Kia SP III, SP IV
Also suitable for use in 6-speed automatics from Audi, BMW, Mini-Cooper, Jaguar, Peugeot/Citroen, Saab, Volvo, VW, Porsche, and all vehicles where Dexron III or Mercon SP is required.

Anyone on here using this in their Aisin ATF?

I had this fluid put in my NW at the start of the year at 90000km. It was a drain/fill rather than a full flush.
I have not noticed any ill-effects with temp, noise or drivability. The TC does seem to lock up a tiny (and I mean tiny) bit sooner than it did with the old MM fluid. Hardly noticeable, but after 90000kms I was quite in tune with how the old fluid performed.

More info mate....vehicle model and how long have you had it in the auto and how it seems to perform.

Just in case anyone else decides to use it. My mate who runs a diesel mechanical shop only stocks Gulf Western and swears by it. I think we get a little carried away at times with our selection of oils.
