I do it all the time from my MBP. Export from iPhoto or whatever at about 1024 pixels wide or so and the file size is usually fine.2016 Mitsubishi NX Pajero GLX

I generally upload photos from my iMac to my Picasa site first (can do this from within iPhoto) and then link to them in a forum post.
