Here’s a guesstimate:

1.0hr inspect
2.0hr drain coolant, remove turbo, manifold, air cleaner and associated parts.
3.0hr remove broken studs and replace all studs.
2.0hr reinstall manifold, turbo coolant etc
1.0hr test, check coolant etc

Seems reasonable to me, even the $90+gst rate is at the lower end of the scale.

Thank you for your reply, from what you have said it seems that your estimate is close to what I was charged. I started to think that I must be losing the plot in my old age thinking that it was a bit excessive in the labour cost.. Anyhow it is paid for I have the 4wd back and I am loading up to go to Lightning Ridge for a couple of months, but still doesn't mean I'm any happier about the whole bloody job. Maybe this year I will find a gem opal to cover the costs.

Default oil pressure sensor

Hi ,

Sorry to hijack the thread and naive question.

In the attachment picture, cant really see the oil pressure sensor. Is it different to NS comparing with other models such as NT ? I am trying to find location of oil pressure sensor as i have some oil leaks and suspect it may be coming from the sensor.

Interestingly i found a sensor on the other side of the engine and my guess is that for NS DID its different location to other models ??
