The fuel filler is probably a racing version to allow heaps pf fuel in at a rapid rate with inbuilt venting. Watch the supercars and they have a separate venting hose, but probably the main filler is like this. It is after all a racing machine!

Well I bit the Bullet and purchased "Mitzy Mk2"....

Not real sure yet if I transfer the Driveline into "Mitzy" (motor, box and diff are better than mine), or Swap bits and pieces onto Mk2 and save myself all the Mechanical work except the Inlet Manifold, timing kit, valve seals and a few easy things.... Might be the better option I think...

I will post up some pics in the next day or two..

Usual Bonnet and roof 'Bleaching'... but other than that and an inlet manifold leak? It has No Oil Leaks... Very unusual...

So I made an offer and got a call on Sunday Night.... $800 + Something I had here for another car that He just happened to need... Win win...

All this talk about oil leaks. For heaven's sake - it isn't a Landrover!

Thanks, I think it will suit us fine... ..
Or at least I have a whole car for spares...

I actually thought about it having no oil in it...

So on my next visit I took a shifter and undone some plugs... It had oil in it...

Just a slight weep coming from Transfer case output shaft.. I already have the seal as that was on the long list of things to do on Mine...

Then this popped up... So the Story begins...

I wonder if both those Evo's are owned by the same fellow... With 97 DAKAR on one and 98 DAKAR on its Twin...
