Going to USA - what to buy?

I am headed to the USA soon for a few weeks.

Is there anything worthwhile getting for your Pajero that is worth getting in the US and bringing back with you in your luggage?

Don't want to waste the opportunity if any parts or accessories are cheaper to get over there.

    Cheers.

They don't sell the Pajero or variants in the US so I don't know how many bits you will find.

Oh well, there goes years of therapy.

Hi, my name is RUGGA and I have a problem -

OMG, you are right. I actually called the Australian distributor about this, years ago.

I can not confirm Nor deny that said dressing (good shake first) has been pored into a bowl with no salad and consumed with crusty warm bread only.............. also drinking it from the bottle - DONT JUDGE MEEEEE..............

No to a UHF radio, our standard is different.

Think gas shocks cannot be carried on planes, check before.

I had to work in the USA about 6 or 7 times in the last couple of years, usually for 3-4 weeks each time.

Some things are much cheaper. Batteries, battery chargers, knives, clothes etc, but batteries are too heavy to bring back, and the chargers are 110v unfortunately. A standard sized Corolla/Pulsar sized car battery can be had for about $45 at Walmart. Bigger 700caa batteries are about $100.

Depending on where you go, some states allow the sale of AC gas in little pressurised tins. Walmart sells 500g for about $4, or a larger can with the gauge and nozzle for about $10. And those cans are allowed on the plane, and it's not an offence to own it, just to sell it or buy it.

Lots of rechargeable power tools are cheaper, so whilst you can't use the charger than comes in the box, you can use the battery in your aussie charger, and of course the tool works fine too. Some are 1/3 the price they are here. Home Depot is the place to look for for these.

Don't buy a hamburger in the USA, there's a reason McDonalds is so successful there
