Default Paint chipping from handle (photo) - how to fix?

Hey all,
the silver paint is coming off the inside of my door handles, after only a three years.
I've already spoken to Mitsubishi, they've said its 'wear' and nothing they will do.
Doesn't sound right to me but whatever.

Any ideas how I should fix this?
I'd replace it but its part of the power window switch.
I think I'll need to touch it up with some paint.

i had cthe same problem bad paint i pulled them out i cleaned it up with metho top and bottom then duck down to bunnings and got a flat black and did light sprays top and bottom over the day and comes up like new regards john i liked how they look i did the back to

I'm going to pull out the power window switches this weekend and try using some silver spray (DS110). I'll put up some pictures.

Single screw in the handle part then pry up gently and pull up then undo screws underneath regards john
