    Geoff,

Yes we have already developed the Nomad Valve Body, Lock-Up Manual Control Kit and Temp Gauge Kit for the NT and yes Scott in Brisbane can both fit all of the above and service the transmission at the same time and we recommend a Full Synthetic Oil.

    Hope this helps.
    Kind Regards
    Rodney

Problem with NS Petrol tourque lock up instal

        Hi Rodney

I had my car with Scott from the auto tranmission centre Brisbane but they haven't been able to instal the torque converter lockup switch.

It's a March 2008 NS pajero - petrol Gearbox code V5A5A - per Mitsubishi based on my VIN yes, this code is different to the one's previously posted.

Scott had ordered both switchs - and determined visually from the gear box that the earlier switch was the one (which I think is the VA51).

However the issue seems to be that Scott and his auto electrician cant find the computer/plug to splice it into.

They had the car for a full day (while I waited) and also eventually took it to mitsubishi to try to work it out. Apparently there are three?? computer modules - passenger kick, under the radio, and another place I can't recall and the installation instructions don't seem to match what they find in the car (I'm just repeating what Scott said to me)

In any case after two days ( one because they needed the earlier switch but thought the newer switch was needed, and the 2nd being the instal day) it still isn't installed.

Although frustrated with the time as it's meant to be a simple instal, I'd just be happy to have it installed in the car so I can go and have some more off road fun I'm not complaining at all - just would like it all in and working.

Any help you could give Scott would be appreciated. I've already taken 2 days off work so it would be great if it could be sorted out before I bring it back again (and have to take another day off work) to have it installed.

Hopefully with your assistance the issues I have faced can help others who may be tackling the instal either themselves or using a professional etc.

        Thanks

This where i tapped mine. The white connector you see is in front of the short gear lever and the wires coming out is heading towards the back under the console.

My pajero is a NM Auto diesel.
My wire was a yellow wire with a thin red line running the entire length.

          Hope it helps.

            Gooday Rodney.

I'm calling in to see you in the morning and had to go chasing for your new address.

It appears our illustrious Admin Staff had started a new thread with the address and neglected to post it here in your original thread.

Ya know, maybe Admin is being overpaid and were out spending all their $ and just didn't give it a thought.........................

Hope your painter is a bit more switched on

Anyway, for those who are interested, this is the new address for Wholesale Automatic Transmissions.

Good that will give me time to get it back from the High Country. Does Billy Goat pretty good now and only a mild burning smell......not like before.
Anyway if I am late back with it I might be coming back via Walhalla and one of the Deep Creek tracks.

                    What sack on the back.

                        Hey Rodney
Big thanks for your work on my NJ auto. It runs really well now, changes perfectly and you saved me money as well. Next job is to get you to fit one of those big coolers before the trip to Flinders Ranges in September. See you soon for sure.
