It's easy to buy the wrong boat. You need to think about how and where you plan to use it, how much fuel it will chew and how hard it is to tow and launch.

Motor is likely to suck 1L/km. It is more important to look at age of motor - 22 years rather than hours travelled. Corrosion may be a problem. Check availability of spares.

If the hull is sound and suits your needs I'd factor in a secondhand 2 stroke with reasonably low hours. Perhaps another 5k.

I'd give the two stroke a miss of you can afford it - they are now phasing them out anyway.

Stinky, smelly and noisy!

Go the DFI Optimax, Evinrude E-TEC or a four stroke. Much better!
