Seeing as the portable butane gas stoves are now banned, I stumbled across this little beauty, very compact (fits in the yellow box) & can use the canisters from the banned stoves, or you can get the squat canisters which are a mix of propane/ butane & wont stop working in cold weather like the butane, probably not new but new to me!

I've got a Snow Peak one that fits on the squat canisters that's made of Titanium.
It also fits into a similar little box like yours.
I'm very impressed with Snow Peak products.

Looks to be a good thing. I assume it was over $100? At more than 5 times the price of the old single burner butane stoves I can't see it catching on too quick unless of course those stove never make a return. Fairly confident they will sort out some sort of cut-off valve and be back on the market gain soon.2010 PB LS- ARB Bull Bar, Runva 11XP winch, Cooper ST Maxx 265/70/17, Ultimate suspension lift, Bushskinz plates, Kaymar rear bar with single wheel carrier.

I have one of these, a Coleman model, and for the size it is not bad at all.
Useless for bigger pots unless they have a thick bottom, but for me alone just right for the job.
They produce a fair amount of heat, but very localised, which means heating big pots evenly is not always easy.
The one thing I really don't like is the stability.
Even with just half a liter of soup on it they become quite unstable with all the weight on top.
I learned my lessen while hungry though LOL
Now I either put some nice rocks around the gas cylinder or put it into a small hole in the ground so it can't fall over.
Always wanted to make a little foldable stand to put around the cylinder the includes a windscreen but not going bush for long trips meant I forgot about it.'94 2.8TD, 2" lift, low mount winch, bullbar, roofrack, UHF, custom drawers, HID spotties, cam, GPS....
