NH SWB fuel tank guard plate

Hi all,
I have been hunting for a bash plate for my NH SWB, not even sure if they exist for an NH as I can't find any reference.

Has anyone found one before or made one and can provide some guidance. I already have a couple of dents in my tank and don't want any more

From memory my NJ swb had a factory thin metal guard as standard, not sure if yours has one. That said they are not very robust. Pic below.

Think they just wrapped around the tank and bolt at 4 locations, 2 on either side of tank. May be worth going to a metal shop with the pic below and your SWB and see if they can fab something up in 4 or 5mm steel.

cheers. I will have a look and see of i can find any mounting points. might try my hand at fabricating one myself. Just finished doing my sliders so got a bit of confidence up

My NJ SWB definitely has a thin tank guard, I know because it got bent last trip
