Is it worth turning the PDF off and is there a way like a patch loom, do you put a straight pipe in.
I do not like the idea of having diluted oil.
How does the oil diluted with diesel go with the 15000 km services.

You do know that deleting the DPF is illegal right?

There are thousands of vehicles out there with DPFs working fine. Later pajeros don't seem to suffer any dramas if driven correctly.

It was in response to this line in below post posted by Spot in this thread.

lso, don't park it over dry grass, vegetation, etc. when hot, as these DPFs are extremely hot when doing a regen & can start a fire even if the vegetation isn't touching it.

Toyotas aren't the only vehicles to have DPF problems with fire.

So is the egr work around.
It just makes it operate the same way VW's were designed. It's not like anyone was pulled over in a VW and asked why your anti pollution system was not working.
