Default Oil near injectors

Have a 2017 gls 3.2 diesel.
When doing 100ks on freeway, engine sounds like it lags and I need to change down a gear when in top gear. No lost power though. Has slight vibration and found oil around first injector? Any ideas???
Have recently replaced front diff oil, engine oil, filters and coolant. And mitsi recently replaced boost valve as car went into limp mode a few weeks ago.

This maybe a silly question but how did you find oil around the injectors?

Could be a tiny diesel leak. Once it's dirty it looks like oil. Probably not enough to cause problems though.

I had some accumulation there too but turn out to be escape vapour from the oil filler cap so I purchased a new rubber seal for the oil filler cap

I would clean that area & around the oil filler, then check regularly to see if it returns & from where. I doubt it is related to the other issues you mention.

Could also be the rubber seal around the injector itself, especially if it's had it's rocker cover removed to have it's valves adjusted during a service. (not likely anything was actually done I know but they still remove parts to make it look like it was done).
