    Interstate Courier Thread

Something that I have seen work really well on another forum I am on is an "INTERSTATE COURIER" thread.

Basically, if you are travelling interstate and have space to perhaps pick up or drop off something for another forum member. You work out the cost etc between yourselves. It makes for cheap interstate transport and we help each other out.

It's not for everyone - but it has been really successful on this other forum.....

I have collected a motorcyle for a member (I had an empty box trailer coming back from Melbourne) as well as wheels and tyres / suspension parts etc...

        I am travelling Perth-Adelaide-Melbourne-Alice Springs-Perth, leaving ~18th August coming back ~start October.

Can take small items or long thin items that will fit on the roofrack. May encounter lots of dust/rain if going on the roofrack...

It can also work if you are looking at buying something and want to know if a local member can collect it for you....

Anyone offering to do this would be well advised to view the article they are transporting just to make sure it's all legal and above board. Don't reckon anyone would want to end up finding out they'd just couriered a shipment of drugs for example.

They run a similar thing on My Swag. Works well from all reports.

Short notice, but I'm towing an empty car trailer Adelaide to Sydney, leaving Adelaide tomorrow (Friday) afternoon, looking to arrive in Sydney late Saturday / early Sunday.

Bringing back a wreck, so trailer will be close to maximum. Could carry something small / not too heavy in the cabin.

If anybody is interested, send me a PM - I should get an email from the forum pretty quickly.

Bit of a long shot but is anyone travelling from Lismore NSW to Adelaide in the short term future? Looking to get a bag of golf clubs brought over. Thanks
