Default interior light door switch

Hi all,

I've had a problem in the last few months with the adjustement of the ceiling/interior light coming when going around corners. I've now removed the bulb as it was coming on too much.

I've checked the door switch and swapped it with the passenger side; its not doing it as much but yes, around a left hand corner and the dash door light flickers on and off.

There doesn't seem to be any adjustment unless there is some way to adjust the actual door.

Any ideas how to remedy this problem, as I'm wanting to a bulb back in the ceiling light.

thanks heaps

Default light switch prob.

Just a couple of thoughts, try sticking a piece of plastic on the door where the door switch strikes the door, if this works a more permanent fix could be fashioned but if it does not fix it maybe a wire is chafing and getting a earth for the light so a wire chasing exercise might be in order. By changing the switches you could have moved the wiring a little? hence the difference in the switching.

Cheers

I have the same issue with the tailgate switch.
I've been mucking about with it for weeks and getting nowhere.
Tried 'Bluetac' to lengthen the pin, that didn't work.
The plastic bit might be the go.

But we will win.
