Sluggish low revs after hitting puddles

    Nm pajero 3.5l.

When I hit puddles while driving the car will hesitate after until wherever the water goes dries up and it drives fine again. Seems to affect low revs more then high. Once you build revs it takes off normally.

    Suggestions on places to start?

Have you replaced your O2 sensor? I had basically the same issue on an old NH I had the wires where hard and water would get into the sensor and kill the car.

100% o2 sensor. I chased this exact problem for over a year. While the engine is warmed up and running, spray some water on the sensor and the engine will stutter. o2 sensor is in the top of the exhaust just behind the CAT converter.

Once confirmed, buy one off eBay and replace it.

      Cheers
