    Ok guys today i jumped in my paj when i went to drive down the road put my foot down and i had no power what could this be. reversed out of the drive placed the car in drive and put my foot down and there was no power could only get up to about 30kms pushed the accelerator a couple of times then the power came back have run the scan tool over it and no codes.

      Far more info need mate to assist........how long did it loose power for, momentary, noises etc etc.

        no different sounds than normal lasted about 1km then all the power was there again.

          I asssume it was running in limp mode?
          If you have an obd scanner, check for error codes

              I have had this before. I would start by checking the fuel filter for grey gunk, if this is what you have you need to treat the tank with a biocide.

                Hi all, I agree with this quote as I had the same issue and it was the Plastic Fuel Strainer inside the tank. I found a link on this forum which had a photo and supplied this to my mechanic as I didn’t have any fault codes either, fuel filter had been replaced and the problem kept happening. $130 later in labour and the strainer was removed, cleaned and put back in - Problem Solved - Power returned to normal but I haven’t put a fuel “tank” additive in.
