Question is: should I go for the stainless exhaust and pay the extra or just stick with the aluminised steel?
I live on the Sunshine Coast so am wondering if the extra protection is worth it...
Also I'm wondering if I should be pushing harder on price?
Glad you're getting it sorted.
Obvious benefit with stainless is longevity, particularly if frequenting beaches and/or deserts, and (I think) consistent with what is stock.
Not an engineer but I believe the downsides are greater heat retention and also that hot stainless doesn't take to a cold water dunking as well as mild steel (? possibility of cracking).
Cheers
