Front & rear wipers & washer jets dont work

Hey Guys hope all is well, thank you all so much for your previous help,

i once again need your expertise,

    Vehicle 1993 LWB Pajero 3.0L V6

Last year my wipers stopped working of which was a result of a fuse, quick fix perfect, but as of a month ago my front wipers worked intermittently some days they work other days they wouldn't, checked the fuse again and its fine i even changed it to eliminate any errors,

now I'm stuck with zero wipers front, back and washer jets are all non working, I'm pretty sure it can't be a faulty motor as everything died at the same time

I really hope you guys can point me in the right direction

    Many Thanks in advance

Could be the washer stalk on the column.....perhaps a bad contact or earth.

thanks for taking the time to reply buddy I did consider that but the rear wiper is also inactive and that's on a separate button so I'm thinking that may not be the case

Just wondering guys is there a single relay that controls all of these functions?

Ah yes sorry bud forgot the rear on a seperate switch in your model. Hopefully someone will answer with locations but I'm pretty sure the front and rear will be on seperate relays. That said quite a coincidence that both go at same time.

Have you unplugged the wiper motors and tested to see if there is power getting to them?

Try replacing the fuse again, even if it looks OK. Often, you get crook contacts due to ingress of dirt, oils & grease. Failing that, find the relay which controls the wiper/washer system and substitute it for another relay and see if that improves it.

Hey guys thanks for the feedback so yesterday, I unplugged and chopped and changed fuses, unplugged the wiper motor connector and now I've got my rear wiper working and my washer jets, but still no front wipers

Still a great result. I'm going to buy a multimeter tonight so I can investigate a little more

Just drive in reverse if it rains then!

If you can put 12v directly onto your front wiper motor and they run, we'll keep looking for a fault somewhere else back through the system (relay, earth, connection etc). If they don't work with 12v directly on the wiper motor then you've also got a bung motor.

Little bit of a tangent- put some RainX on your windshield that way if it does rain your vis won't be so bad out the front.

Rain X all ready done buddy haha!

Ok I've just brought a multi meter but not 100% sure where to go with it,

Checked all fuses for continuity and all fuses inside the car are good

Ok so I realized that the rear wiper, and washer Jets work when the wiper motor is unplugged! Once I plug it back in the rear wiper and jets are dead

Does that help in any way

I'm not to sure what I'm doing as yet but I've got my multimeter set to DCV 20

Plugged the earth into blue red/stripe positive into blue white reads zero turn key to ignition on wipers on and it reads 0.46

When I put the wiper stalk to

                    Zero it reads 0.00
                    Int it reads 0.00
                    1 it reads 0.45
                    2 it reads zero

When I turn the time dial on the stalk nothing happens

ok sorry guys for a million messages and I'm pretty sure its the intermittent wiper relay thats dead as i can't hear any clicks from any of the fuse boxes when i try to activate the wipers

big question does anyone know where the relay is located? i can't find any info on the relays them selves

from what I've read the Intermittent wiper relay is built into the column switch, at least now i put the multimeter onto the switch and see whats happening

Thanks again guys you a true legends!!
