looking good, the round ends are nice on a clean looked after rig, hence why mine are just straight haha
If I agreed with you, then we would both be wrong

Thanks guys for the comments. Even my wife likes them and she isnt into fourbies...at all...

Bakerboy, it would be easy to finish yours off, particularly as the straight ends could potentially cop a hiding (I am not saying they look unfinished though...) The tapered end will help deflection... well I hope they will

nah i'm leaving them as is, i don't think they will be an issue, a lot of patrols run this design and havent heard bad things about them, yet haha

HD towbar fitted. I didnt like the matte (in this pic) so I sprayed it satin. i also polished the rear bar after this photo was taken as the new towbar made the rear bar look really tired! It will also be good rear end protection off road.

and I dont think I have posted any photos of my fold down table. Have had it for years and gets used all the time on a trip, both at the campsite and on the road. Its awesome.

Well after experiencing problems a few months ago with my front auto hubs I decided rather than pulling them apart and re-greasing them I would take the opportunity to install new manual (genuine) hubs.

I have to say that was $100 well spent! Tested them out yesterday and I was very happy with them. You know once they are locked they are locked. There is also something a little satisfying with manually locking your front hubs when you stop to air down!

I got my hubs off an '85 model. I was stressing a little thinking the splines would be different but it turns out they are identical. So basically these AISIN hubs are the same from 1985 to 2004. If it aint broke no need to fix mr mitsubishi. Well done!

and just to prove they are genuine

sliders are 40NB Light Black pipe. 3.2mm wall. Very strong!

Wheels are off a late 80s/early 90s triton. They also came standard on some jap import NG pajeros (model with plastic flares). I like them. Due for a refinish though as the clear coat has a bit of sun damage.
