Also worth mentioning the back up provided by lowrance is great, I originally had a hds8 and for some reason it wouldn't do a software update so they replaced it with a hds10. Awesome customer service.
That's lucky, I have heard anything but good service for brands supported by Navico, don't believe me but, do a search and there'll be heaps to back this up
