In short, no. Even if you get some reduction in free play, this will be for a limited time.

Hey guys I can't seem to locate this nipple, I've try to feel around and inside the uni joint but nothing feels like a nipple.

Edit: found it, I googled uni join nipples to see where they're typically located

You need the motor running and in 2H to turn the shaft or the front wheels off the ground.

found it, although in my case the joint didn't take much grease. Maybe less than a couple of squeezes, then grease was coming out of the nipple.

Sometimes you need to push the grease gun fitting very firmly to seal the nipple to stop it leaking back from the nipple.

Or just roll the vehicle a very small distance so the nipple points in the right direction ?

If anything like mine I wish you good luck getting your greasing head squarely onto the nipple.

I found it very annoying to grease this nipple as the slightest misalignment ended in a big blob of grease going nowhere, with a needle attachment it's just too easy .

But where there's a will, there's a way.
Or in my case if you're just too scabby to buy a needle attachment
