I ordered mine through Western Filters (as linked), but added an additional bracket to the air filter base to stop engine vibration causing the Provent to touch the brake reservoir.
That was over 2 years ago though, so they may have altered to bracket to stop this.MY14 GLX Pajero DID auto with Lift, 265/70 R17 Yoki X-AT's, Full Bushskinz plates , Scotts Rods 3" TBE, Johnny Tig FMIC, TME ECU remap, Provent, OL Bullbar, Ironman 9500lbs winch, dual batteries, Lockup mate lite, nomad valve body, aeroflow AF72-6000 transmission cooler with 9" fan and radiator cooler bypass, 3.15 reduction gears, traction contol mod (on/off), Uniden 8080S, flappy paddles, Rhino flat rack mounted on ARB rails, 42" Stedi ST3K light bar and custom drawers

I bought mine from that link. Is a good kit and very easy to fit. Amazes me how much oil is collected every few weeks.

Cheers guys. I just realised the eBay seller is Western Filters. LOL. Will wait and see if they have a discount day.

I purchased from Western Filters as soon as I picked my 2014 NW about six weeks ago. The bracket supplied was pretty flexy so I went back to them with my concerns and they supplied a newer style bracket that was thicker and spaced the Provent away from the master cylinder. I believe this is now the bracket supplied in the latest kit. I also added a stay that bolts underneath the airfilter bracket. No movement at all now when the engine is running. I am a pedantic owner so I supplied my own hose from the cam cover and used the OEM as the return.

Cheers James,
What hose did you get? Likewise the sping. Also, do you remember the measurements for that riser bracket you made?
Finally, from looking at the eBay item, it appears that it does not include the elbow piece that people are using. Is this something extra I have to get?
Cheers,
Vlad

The hose is a brand called SpeedFlow Pluetone and the outside metal coils are Unicoils. They should be available from any good parts store. The hose is available from http://www.mscn.com.au/plutone-clear...d=clear%20hose Due to the bend I wanted I needed to trim the engine cover a bit, but it does not look out of place.Attached Files2014 NW VR-X, with a few modifications and an Automate fitted Driving Pajero number three.

Hi Vlad,
A few of us in SA bought the HPD kit.
performance diesel product intercooler catch can transmission cooler air intake egr delete boost controller turbo kit
It's a little more expensive, but it installs very easily.

Simple job. All parts provided including a custom bracket.
I chose the HPD catch can as it is beautifully made and all Aluminium. Top quality product.
Having a snorkle it installs in a different position to the stock car.
Nothing mentioned on the web site about there being a kit if you have a snorkle. Fortunately I dropped into their workshop to work out mounting location and found out.

Curious to know what it looks like inside and does it work as per a Provent, with a replaceable filter. It is a nice looking bit of kit.

In independent lab tests, the Provent had been shown to be around 98% efficient. The HPD catch cans scored very badly, around 43%.
I've got a Provent, and after about 10,000km it's captured a bit of blow by, and no water vapour, as it seems the water vapour gets returned and burnt out. Mates with the HPD catch can seem to be catching about 85% water vapour and not much oil

No more efficient than a Provent and you have to use an allen key to get the lid off , as it is held by setscrews. The only advantage is physical size.

Received the ProVent 200 kit yesterday. Now to fit it. I am tossing whether to join Paul (SA) to get it fitted by Cross Country 4X4 onto the firewall or stick with the kit that came with it.
Either case, I have read some people having to source reducers etc or additional elbows and hoses. If I choose to install it as per the kit, what additional parts would I need? I would like to get them beforehand, ready for the install.
Cheers,
Vlad

Can anyone confirm if a provent 200 can be fitted under the bonnet behind the air box on a 3.2 with a safari snorkel that has had the air box moved back? The other option of between the radiator and air box is out for me due to the Jonny tig intercooler.
I’m not to keen on putting it in behind the grill as that blocks airflow and with the new intercooler I need all the airflow possible.1994 NJ SWB, 3.5 Manual, 285/75/16 Deegan 38s MT, 25mm body lift, Twin ARB air lockers, XD9000 winch, custom bar.
