    Fuel Tank Protector

    G'day All,

    Just putting this up from a thread in the 4-2 section.

    If the fuel tank guard goes ahead and there's the chance of a group buy I'd like to hear about it.

    Particularly with compatibility with aux tanks.

    Hope to see something in the near future!

      I spoke to Keiron today about it, catching up with him after he returns from holidays late August, he's going to have a look at the guard and see what it'd take to make one at a reasonable price.
      What we need to find out is IF the same guard is used from NM to NW or at what stage they change and by how much, also are unleaded and diesel tanks the same etc.

          2001-2006 looks the same, the ones after that look the same except for one more mounting bit.



          The one below is for 2006 onwards


          Even the short wheel base ones look the same.

                        Me too - I cracked my plastic tank guard a month ago, currently patched up with a couple of steel straps & duct tape. I put an enquiry to local Pedders for the Asfir product, yet to hear back

                        I would also like to support a great local business, and complete the BushSkinz equipment set on my vehicle.

                            I wanted one quickly so I got one from pedders....they said there was two in melbourne and it was there 2 days later?

                              Yeah see I'm not sure if I could force myself to buy from pedders...

                              Especially when I could be supporting Australian business especially one of the few who take our cars seriously enough to do r&d on them.

                              Hopefully bushskinz offer one before I destroy my plastic/fiberglass one
