Anyone know where this goes - NW diesel?

Pulled the dash apart and played with things over the last few weeks. Came across this part lying around in the car, looks like a temp sensor but the one in the dash is there and working? Sorry pics aren't real sharp.

Looks like the light that’s either under the glovebox or steering column (can’t remember which side but think it’s drivers side). There will be an obvious point it plugs into when you drop the covers. It sits around where the clips push in.

Mate that is the interior footwell light that sits under the gloevbox and under the where the fuel latch and bonnet latch are. See pic below.
