Default Making the V6 tow friendly.

The wife has her heart set on buying our first caravan. Itíll be something small like a Jayco Expanda so roughly 1500kg GVM.

Being that my Paj is the petrol V6 and it drinks fuel like crazy when itís NOT towing, whAt mods can I do to keep the economy under control?

Currently have HD springs and an Aux fuel tank.

Cheers.

Not a lot you can do. Fit road tyres and fill them with air as per the placard, keep the speed lowish and make sure the torque converter stays locked. Don't use a roof rack.

Last time I towed a friendís van I got around 23L. Keeping it under that would be great.
I know thereís not a lot that can be done, but any tips would help.

New car entirely is on the horizon but not yet.

Buy a Corolla hybrid, fuel economy and 4wd should not be used in the same sentence.

Not sure if this will work on an NS, however, I improved my economy and towing performance with an extractor on my 3l V6 1993 Pajero
