Peter,
If you use the factory specs, you will always wear the inner edge of the tyre before it is worn out. A few years ago, a Repco repair centre mechanic told me that Pajeros are best to have the front wheels pulled up to dead straight with no camber etc, to get a longer tread life. This is what I have been doing for years & there is a considerable difference in the wear patterns. The only trade off is that the car tends to wander a bit more as there is a bit more surface area in contact with the road & it will follow every crack & deviation. Increasing the camber gives more precise control at speed, which is why mosr race cars have their steer wheels leaning in to a point where you think they must have a collapsed wheel bearing. Get the wheels aligned straight up & down & they will last a lot longer.

Matt.

Honest thought as the info is of the net and it doesn't state left or right hand traffic, i would take the paj to a wheel alignment specialist. Get the to set it to the required setting for Oz. All the modern laser wheel alignment machines now come with the required speecs for all the different models, When you pick it up ask them for the report that shows the before and after adjustments.

Johnsons Tyrepower in Nambour do all the alignments for work. I would have thought Bob Jane or Beaurepairs would have had a laser aligner these days.
