    That sucks.. So new motor now hope you find it or can fix the motor you have.

      been looking on ebay a reco head for a 2.8 (they didnt have any for 2.5) was 1150 and a timing belt was 209 so might aswel get another motor, might look into the v6 commo conversion

        That does suck! I'd be lookin into a warranty claim there cause im pretty sure the have some sort of klm warranty. Ya just gotta luv cars

          yes it certainly does suck but dont think i can do a warrenty claim as it was done before i bought the car, ive only had it about 6 months

              got the head off yesterday got the bolt off with a chisel and grinder, dropped head off at the engine builder just waiting for him to call me with a price

                Good to hear you got it off.. No piston damage I hope and hope it's a cheap fix.. At least it's not raining now

                  yeah im so happy its not raining ay, number 1 piston had some marks on it but the engine builder said it will be right so hopefully it wont cost alot to repair

                    If the piston has marks on it, then its good bye to the caliper, as you cant repair them, once the crome coating has been marked or scratched, the caliper is knackered, throw it away and get yourself off to the nearest scrappie and get your self a good 2nd hand caliper, for a couple of bucks and your nightmare is over, because no matter what you do to that one of yours, its only going to seize up again, once you apply the foot brakes.

                      think is meaning the number 1 piston in the motor after the belt broke

                                head will be back on tomorrow then and hopefully everything else to get it running by the end of the weekend so will let you all know how it went, will probably start a new post, cheers
