    Another year in China:

The Chinese-spec Mitsubishi Pajero (Mitsubishi Montero) will receive a minor refresh soon. The 2018 Mitsubishi Pajero will debut at 2017 Chengdu Auto Show.

Gold badges/lettering, weird exterior/body graphics and 9" infotainment with satnav and internet connectivity.

Hopefully we don't get the gold/graphics!

Looks pretty tacky, but the blurb says that this "refresh" is probably only going to China, so that's a relief.

OK looks ugly but " current model 6g72 3L V6 standard " must be a few leftovers laying around the factory
Over capitalized NK.I'm running out of things to add to it it died , now a SWB NJ with all the good stuff from the NK on it .

This URL refers to the 3-litre petrol version selling in India. No manufacturer would never import a 3-litre petrol engine 4WD into Australia when there are so many good diesel alternatives.
India is totally a different market. Hardly anyone tows or goes off-road there. To drop a 3-litre petrol engine into the Pajero (due to emissions or whatever) is to kill it in Australia.
So the model can easily continue in other regions on the same frame and body, but only with a petrol engine as it's much easier to comply to Euro 5 or 6 without compromising performance.
If Mitsubishi decide to drop-in any of the petrol engines recently accessible through the Nissan takeover, well that's a totally different ball game.

As long as they're able to profit from it they'll probably keep selling it here. At least until a replacement arrives. However its 2018 and the latest model is MY17

just register it now most people regard register date as build date.
Stopped by local mitsi dealer today, half pie thinking about changing,as the gls now has nearly 200 k which is a significant mileage for most people. They had a brand new exceed there big central screen and big glass sunroof. he said 60 k new,and i sat in a pajero sport which he reckoned was better than pajero in every way.(he said it was 50k)
Didnt seem so bad actual room wise but the central console definetly intruded into the knee room width wise.He was keen for me to take it for a drive but it was crammed into the very back of the show room.I wont tell you what he offered me as a trade but he did say it was at the low end of the window.
