cutting back rust around front window sill of NH swb

Hey,

Hoping someone give me some pointers/advice on how to remove rust around the from window sill of swb NH pajero.
The reason had small leak coming through got autoglass guy to come out and look at resealing found some rust around edges, so I want to know how to clean it up and correct it before getting window guy to reseal windscreen.

is the screen out and what gear do you have to do the job

Get the screen out, if it's just surface rust then give it a clean with a wire wheel and then kill rust it. If it's a hole then cut the rust out and weld it up then smooth over it with some filler then under cote, top cote and bobs your uncle.
