I have always done the anti rattlebolt up tight when fitting the towbar slide in in my MM towbar. however it often is loose when I have travelled. it is a small force on such a small bolt and just flattens the end. I have been told that I should not be using it when towing as I have enough pressure on the towbar with the HM WDH fitted. DOes anyone have any info on whether it should or not be used. IF it come loose then what is the point in doing it up tight in the first place?
