    Cabin filter ?

Does the 2010 Challenger have a pollen / cabin filter ?
I see on YouTube where you can modify to put one in the Triton .
Just that my air conditioning seems a little less effective than when I first got the car a couple of years ago .

Not sure, I'd reckon you're probably up for a re-gas of aircon after 10 years, given the going rate for that gas now, probably re-mortgage and give them a kidney.

My '14 Challenger isn't the best at cooling, had it 3 years, probably should look at this too.

Checking the Service Manual, it appears the cabin pollen filter was fitted from 2011 onwards.

The air channels of AC evaporator and heater core can become blocked over time and this will lead to a decrease in cooling and heating performance, a cabin air filter slows this process but it does not eliminate it completely. Unfortunately it is not a quick or easy job to clean the these out.

My manually controlled AC in my 2011 Challenger has always been very good.
I use it all year round, in the winter it assists in defogging the windows, in summer it copes with the 40C Adelaide summers. Only maintenance it has had in 7.5 years is the cabin filter gets changed and the dirty filter washed and dried ready for the next change. I change the filter at daylight saving change over and before & after a long outback trip. I have used the current filters for almost 5 years on a rotational basis.

I've replaced my cabin filter numerous times and yes it's always clagged with crap so it does work, just my A/C is ordinary and has been since new. One day I will get it checked.

Okay thanks guys . I did have a look behind the glove box , it did look like anything was there . My air con is still pretty reasonable at the moment , I just seem to remember it being a bit better .
