Loose gear stick

Afternoon..

My gear stick is loose when in gear and I believe I would just need to replace the bushes.

I am trying to find the correct parts but having trouble..

What model is my pajero?

The number you are looking for is part of your VIN. Our diesel is V88W.

Go to Partsouq.com and put in your VIN to search. Partsouq.com is an online genuine parts company based in Middle East that is predominantly a lot cheaper than buying from the dealers. There is also Amayama.com which is another online genujne parts company. Just make sure you change the currency to Aus dollars and place the items you need into the cart to work out postage.

How the later models (Gen4 .....NS,NT, NW and NX) numbering work are:

V87W SWB PETROL
V88W SWB DIESEL

V97W LWB PETROL
V98W LWB DIESEL

The model number is on the plate within the engine bay on the underside of the bonnet to the passenger side. The model number is the first line and will start with V97W or whatever model it is.

The VIN plate is on the firewall drivers side. The first line is your VIN. Your VIN also has the model number within it. Digits 6, 7, 8 and 9 show the V97W model number.

Below I'll link theonline tech manual which is useful for repair, maintenance and also in the General tab has good info on VIN, Model numbers etc etc. The pic is of that section re Model numbers.
