If you CAN'T fix it with a hammer, you've got an ELECTRICAL PROBLEM...........But, you can eliminate an electrical problem with a hammer

Gee they let anyone in here nowadays!
We call the Colt a Triton over here.

        Thanks guys.

The winch is in a cradle somehow fixed to the front ends (left and right)
Possibly not the best design, but the best we know for a vehicle without a chassis.

My previous Colt (Triton in your parts of the world) I had a ARB with the winch in the ARB bumper. There a sideways pull was no problem. Havent had to use the winch yet on the Paj

You guys are always welcome on our forum and I believe our climate and landscape is not much different from yours anyway. So good comparison with the Pajero's on different continents.

And I spend some time on the Land Cruier Club of SA too.... Too much reading material available to absorb all in one go. Time is a bugger though, When you have it, one tends to spend it elsehere, like in the office
