NH auto trans oil genuine or after market?

Looking at flushing the auto transmission oil in the wifes NH. Is there a compatable after market oil or do i go to mitsubishi? I am planing on buying 10ltrs to do the job but after doing a quick search of castrol and nulon i am unsure on which oil is compatible.

If unsure stick with the known. But the Nulon lube guide states MULTI-VEHICLE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID Mineral or synthetic is suitable.

      Any dex3 will do.
The multivehicle atf's are better though. I've used nulon and penrite multivehicle semi syn and both do a good job.

it was mentioned some time back that Genuine MM auto fluid should allways be used in Mitsubishi Transmissions.

Having done a few auto trans services on pajeros I can assure you there is no issues with using store bought atf.
The mutli vehicle atf also states on the back that it is designed for chrysler and mitsubishi and exceeds spII and spIII. My NL now has mutlivehicle penrite and shifts very smoothly with it. Guy before me used Nulon mineral stuff in the 6yrs he had it and there was nothing wrong with it but was due for a service so I bought some good stuff.

Was also speaking to Rodney over at wholesale automatics a few months ago about which atf should be used and he said to just use any dex3.

Cheers. Will compare some prices then decide from there.

I just use a good quality Dex3 atf from Auto One and its been fine and I tow a camper trailer. Think about replacing the filter while you are at it as they are cheap!
