    Top of Mt Dissapointment """Snowing"""

    Was up Mt Dissa today having a look around and I could'nt believe it, it started snowing, not real heavy but yeah was definately snowing. It was cold but I did'nt think it was that cold. Anyway kids loved it.

      Also thought that, especially as Hume & Hovell named it Mt Dissappointment in 1824, because the expected view of Port Phillip Bay was obscured by trees (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_D...28Australia%29).

      Reminds me of my family once going up to stay in Blackheath in August school-holidays (many yrs ago), for it to start snowing that 1st afternoon as we went for a walk. Snowed all night to leave a good covering on the ground for it stay for most of the next day!
