    6g72 on lpg

    Hi All
    Just a question about LPG on a 92 NH V6 3L, (6g72).
Why are these engines so bad for converting to lpg?
Can anything be done to make them suitable?.
Is it the heads that cant handle the lpg, can they be rebuilt to suit an lpg installation and run just as reliable..

Is anyone out there running there 6g72 on lpg without any probs .
    Looking forward to some answers...

    Regards

Yes, some people have run LPG on a 6G72 without problems. Some haven't.

Mitsubishi say the heads aren't up to it - an issue with the higher combustion temperatures, I believe. I think it's the castings themselves, not the valves or valve seat inserts.
