I installed the head unbit came off ASX 2017. Got everything works except micro phone and reverse camera. i have located microphone and factory reverse camera wires. Play around with it but still unable to make it works.

              Thanks for that.
With the reverse camera you need to make sure the voltage is correct.
one of these i read somewhere:

400$ for fitting is quite too much. atleast they have to run and set up new cables and fitting new adapters. Pretty much in the market is plug and play. it is challenging if you want to put a head unit from 2017 or advance model of pajero to a old 2010 or older model, or install after market Reverse camera (12v) into 6(v) recognition head unit, or even after market head unit can able to recognise 6v factory camera,

Wait what? Does that include the head unit as well?

                        Head unit on top...

the $400 isn't to bad I would of thought, especially if your not into pulling the dash apart. Most that Ive read here have said its a taken a few hours.

The cables seem the dear parts.

                          Klyde Android 8 System

I upgraded my stock system with a Klyde Android 8 System with 32 GB memory from Ali Express. Cost was about USD 400 plus shipping/import duty. I also bought the CAN Bus adapter from the same guys so that I could get all the steering controls to work. It came with OE mitsubishi connector PINs so, I didn't have to cut/splice any wires. It is fully reversible and I can put the OE system back at any time.

This system comes with DVR, Reverse Camera, Google Maps, WIFI, etc, etc..

Yikes. I swapped my head unit out (base model not MMCS) and cost of adapters was $20. Only because I wanted to keep the stock plug it in the car, otherwise chop it off and cost would be $0.

I recently installed head unit from 2017 ASX, apple car play, dab, usb, HDMI. It works with factory reverse camera, micro phone, and steering wheels controls. All original adapters and just need to wire some cables for micro phone and reverse camera. Everything works beautifully. Cost me time and 200$

Hi sorry for the very late reply.
I couldnt get it working, no sound at all.
So they sent another canbus and still nothing but now the steering wheel buttons dont work.

So i'm stuck at this point and ready to give up
