    Info on Tamboritha Road

Does anyone have info on Tamboritha Road between Licola and Arbuckle Junction in the Victorian High Country? In particular, is it suitable to tow a camper-trailer on? Thinking of including that in a trip to the VHC in late March next year. So, as always, would also have to factor in what it might be like if it's wet. Thanks for any advice.

It's a pretty well made dirt road. No problem towing a camper on it.

I last drove it on the 10th and 11th of June this year (Sunday arvo the first 7kms from Arbuckle Junction heading towards Licola, and then the rest on Monday morning.) It had rained all Friday night and a bit again on Saturday night, so the road was still fairly damp but it wasn't slippery.

Has a pretty steep section but 63t, 23m Bd log trucks come down it, and 70t low loaders go up it.

Biggest issue is just tourists travelling to quick on dirt roads with sometimes minimal sight distances, and sometime lots of corrogations, but this is common to most popular locations like this.
