    17" Wheel Suitability

I'm looking at these wheels to replace the 18" standard set on a Pajero Sport

    They're 17 x 7.5 from an MQ Triton.

Anyone know if they're an identical fit?

    Hi Ron,

Since the 17x7.5 wheels you are looking at are genuine factory alloys off a MQ Triton, they should have a P38 offset then these should fit as the front suspension and brakes were the same when I checked a few years ago. I do not believe anything has changed so best to trial a front wheel on your PS before purchase.

Only 4 rims though so what are you going to do about the spare?

Whoops, just realised you are asking about Paj Sport not Paj, so disregard what I had written here.

The Challenger, Triton and Pajero Sport all have P38 offset rims but the Gen 3/4 Pajeo have P46 offset. Brake caliper clearance is the issue, and some rim designs give more caliper clearance than others.
PB/PC Challenger and MN Triton all had the same front brakes so rims are interchangeable.
MQ Triton and the Pajero Sport also had the same front suspension and brakes, when I checked a few years ago, so I believe these are interchangeable but because the brakes are bigger than the PB/PC Challenger and MN Triton not all rims are interchangeable.
Some 17"X 7.5" P38 factory alloys from PB/PC, MN will fit the MQ and Pajero Sport but 16"X 7" P38 rims will not.

Good pick-up, and if I can't buy 5 in one hit there are sellers on eBay and Gumtree selling just one wheel.

The 17x71/2” +38 MQ rims do fit. I see a Pajero Sport running around locally with those. I run 17x71/2 +38 Challenger rims on mine with no problems.
