Review "3" Mandrel Bent Dump Pipe & Exhaust with high flow Cat"

Hi all if you have been having a look at Creighton's TJM in the Commercial Advertiser's section you'll know that Jenene has been researching exhausts for the Pajero, Triton & Challenger, ( also other makes & models), at this stage for the Turbo Diesel..

I can report they have 2 vehicles all fitted up..

A Toyota 100 Series 4.2 T/D Performance Dump Pipe 3" Mandrel Bent System (Pre cat converter so not required).

And my NM 3.2 DID had the same system as above but with a high flow 200 cell Cat..

Al reports his 100 series seems smoother & more responsive & I can say the same goes for my Paj, but as the drive back to my daughters here in Brissy was peak hour I'll wait a few days to comment further.

I can also add that on the way up here to Brissy fully loaded 1st Fill used 142ltrs, (inc 60 usable in sub), 1294 Ks about 11ltrs/100ks & then 86ltrs for 820ks = 10.5/100ks so happy with that.. So will be interesting on the way home to compare!

I will say I'm impressed with the quality of the product.. Aluminized Steel & I have some great Pics of all the exhaust going on in stages too..

Jenene will, after this review, if all goes as planned offer these Exhaust systems in Kit or fitted form at their Traralgon Store..

Here's a shot I took with my mobile, you'll have to wait till I get a chance to upload the Digital SLR shots.. Shows the 200 cell Cat & you'll also notice the 4" Flexi pipe:

      Good pick up

I was taking picks as they were custom fitting so at the stage of that pic it was only tac welded When I get a chance to upload all the pics I think you'll be impressed with the welding job I know I am..

      Gus.

PS. I'll try & get them up tonight.

Just a correction, it's aluminium coated mild steel, or known in the trade as ACMS

At this stage all I can say is it's in the process of being negotiated & Jenene is making sure by testing 1st.

As I said she now has 2 vehicles with them & is so far impressed with what's been reported..

                          Looks excellent Gus.
I now see the pics of the dump pipe for the turbo and there is a significant difference between old and new!
I'm just waiting to dent up my factory exhaust when offroad, then I have a soled excuse to upgrade
                          Cheers, Dan.

Gus, when you next see Jenene it may be worth making her aware of issues with replacing the Cat on NS models just in case she is thinking of developing an exhaust system for the NS.
Both Goodsy and Pasniny have found replacing/deleting the factory Cat creates many problems regarding the way the pre and post Cat temp senders work.
                              Regards Andrew.
2019 MR Triton bog stock at the moment but that will change.
