Default Replacement key

Morning all, I've just bought a used Triton and the previous owner has lost the spare key.
A quick phone call to Mitsubishi for a replacement using the key tag with the vehicle I'm told a replacement , including coding and cutting, will be north of $350. Not impressed.
Anyone know of a cheaper alternative.
TIA

Krazy Keys is supposed to be good value, not used them myself but was told by a key-cutting place to try them when I asked about a spare key for my daughter's car (not a Pajero)

SOR / Bibra Lake I believe...

No problems mate.
Currently I'm waiting for a new key blank complete with transponder from ebay. Cost $49.95
A local locksmith can cut the key and programme the transponder for about $100

I used Alchin Locksmith. https://alchinlocksmiths.com.au/

I originally bought a blank from Repco, but it turned out to be wrong - wouldn't fit. I didn't realise this until Alchin turned up to cut & program it for me, and they very intelligently started with a test fit - no point cutting a key that doesn't fit the lock.

They had a proper replacement in their van, for less than I paid at Repco - from memory, the supply, cut & program cost less than $200.

Of course, the remote recently stopped working (after a few years) and needed a new battery - which I discovered when I wanted to leave it with my mechanic. Trap for young players, my mechanic put the replacement battery in the wrong way - when it didn't work with the new battery they suggested it had a cracked track on the PCB. It took me a while to figure out what was really wrong...
