Personal experience with Unifilter has been 100% positive.
Zero issues with oil affecting the sensors.
130k km of predominantly inland/desert travel and I've never seen any dust passing the oiled filter.either.
I refresh the filter at approx 20k km.
A couple of tips when oiling the filter media:
a) warm the oil first.
b) only use a few capfuls per filter pad. Do not over-oil them.
