First time poster, so please be gentle with me!
I have a NP PAJERO 2005, 150,000kms in very good condition. I fitted a Pioneer aftermarket stereo, but wanted to replace the CD unit with a solid , metal if possible, blanking plate to which I can attach a heavy duty accessory socket to power a light force hand held spottie. I don't want to have to lift the bonnet and clip to the battery. I was advised the ciggie lighter and wiring would not be adequate for the current draw even though it should only draw 8.3 amps ( 100w @ 12v).
can any of you guys recommend a suitable product. If not , I might just have to make one!
