    Another Pajero Recall

    Was at the Mitsi dealers the other day and they made me aware of another up coming recall

    09 NT Di-D Auto RX (Now Gone)
    2014 Golden Eagle Escape in tow ( Now Gone)
    2021 QF Pajero Sport
    ​​2020 Vacationer Roadtracker in tow
    LOVE'N THAT CAR"

    Mitsubishi Australia posted a thread in their section:

    NT Platinum. DiD Auto with 265/70R17 ST Maxx, Lift, Lockers, Lockup Mate, Low range reduction, LRA Aux tank, bull bar, winch, lots of touring stuff. Flappy paddles. MMCS is gone!

    Project: NJ SWB. 285/75R16 ST Maxx, 2" OME suspension, 2" body lift, ARB 110, 120l tank, bullbar, scratches, no major dents. Fully engineered in SA. NW DiD & auto in place - a long way to go....

      2012 NW GLS Diesel Auto with:
      ARB delux bar, full length Ocam ally roof rack with rear LED work light, dual batteries, DIY rear ally drawers with fridge slide, 2" lift oztec/kings, Polyairs, Kings awning 2.5 x 2.5m with LED strip light, pair of genr8 40w LED spot/flood driving lights, iron man 4x4 22" LED light bar, mounted thumper compressor, 70L water tank & 12v pump, 120w solar, LED interior lights, Boo Boo's bash plates, Safari snorkel and Grande mk lll 12000lb winch.

        This looks like fallout from the airbag debacle last year. Did not realise Mitsi was at risk as well
        1994 NJ 3.0 now with a 2000NL 3.5 engine and driveline, 2.5 catback, 32" MT Deegan 38's, 1" body lift, front diff drop with front tension rods indexed and cranked an 3", 3" on the rear coils
        *** retired to the big wrecking yard in the sky***
        1998 NL 3.5 blisterside, running a 6g75 (3.8) with M90 supercharger at 14psi, 305.70.16's on -44 rims 3.5" suspension lift, Custom Bull bar, winch install, custom front control arms, NJ GLS flares and some camping gear in the back
        .

          This issue has been known about since 2004 and has affected many many brands. Pajero is just another in a long line.

            Looks like its going to be a long wait for the recall to happen as they have no idea when Mitsubishi will receive their order of replacement parts from takata.
            New to Pajero.. 2009 NT Pajero Exceed,V6,3.8L, BOOBOO Bash Plates,

              This could be a legal minefield for vehicle manufactures.

              With the unknown if an air bag is ok how does that affect roadworthy? Insurance, both vehicle and greenslip?

                SO if parts are unavailable they are advising people to 'not sit here' basically rendering your car undriveable!. So who gives you a replacement car in the meantime. I mean they just cant expect you to not use your car until parts are available. What an allmighty co**up.
                NS shorty 3.8l petrol with winch, front/rear E-lockers
                NT shorty 3.2l tdi, pretty stock with rear locker
