    Yeah P76 V8 engine in my first Range Rover and a 6 cylinder in my Austin Kimberly. Funny the front wheels would spin at anything over 1/2 throttle take off. Both engines were a very easy fit.

      I think it was one of the first Alloy V8's made. I remember the launch documentary they made for it when they released it in Australia. It was an entirely new way to launch a car back in those days.

        Of course LOL. The (in)famous P76. I had one of the Super 6 series, and apart from one major fault, it was one of the all-round best vehicles I've owned..... if you stood next to it on a quiet night, you could actually hear it rusting. Most of its most vocal detractors never owned one though.

        Next on the list and as well-known—for a lot of similar reasons—as the P76;

        (Incidentally, I should've mentioned that reverse image searching on Google kinda defeats the challenge.)

          I think it's a Zeta, made by the Lightburn washing machine mob in South Australia.

              Yep, the washing machine on wheels. Could go forwards or rearwards at the flick of a switch LOL.

              I can see we need to up the degree of difficulty here...

                        My guess is that the "Flash" engine belongs to a Simca Aronde built by Chrysler in Adelaide around about 1960 to 1964. From memory about 1290 ccs.

                        Once you got past the horrible cream plastic instrument panel, quite a nice little car. There are still a few running around Adelaide some of which occasionally come out for the "Bay to Birdwood" classic car run.

                                I'm having trouble with copying the photo into this post, but I think the little green car is a 1920s Morgan 3 wheeler - however I have never seen that body before. As a Morgan it would be front wheel drive with a two cylinder V engine - probably a JAP - providing the motive force.
