Short story, long.
I had problems first starting after vehicle was rested for overnight and had to hand prime the Paj to get the fuel up to it.
This was fixed in Adelaide by Altrac, they found an o ring missing..so first start problems after a long rest was fixed.
What the problem is now is that after 30 sec from first start..vehicle dies..loses revs and stalls.
Restart engine, 15 sec..gets fuel up again..then pigroots and has a flat spot whilst driving away around 2000rpm..
After about 10 minutes driving..all is good no problems, powers along.
Then next morning same problem again.
So I have a sneaky suspicion it’s the bracket the fuel filter attaches to, as Altrac mentioned if causing same issue again, it might be the bracket as it looked sus to them.
I’m in Geelong for a month, so I can afford to leave the vehicle o/night with a mechanic familiar with Diesl Pajero’s and they see the problem first hand.
