Our BlackWolf tent is a 2013 Turbo 240 Canvas with the larger verandah. It was bought for our 40+ night Kimberley trip and is a great tent. It joins our selection of 6 tents that we have accumulated over of 40 years of camping, ranging from a lightweight hike tent to a full blown base camp/family tent. It is the tent most used now as there is just the 2 of us, if I go solo it is either the swag or the hike tent. No complaints about quality or performance. We also have a C-Gear mesh tarp that goes underneath the tent floor and verandah area and would high recommend these over a conventional groundsheet.

    cheers, OJ.

Black Wolf make some awesome gear. We used a 270 plus for years with no issues. Quick to put up, very strong and never a leak in some huge storms. They a fairly expensive but well worth every cent.

Given I cruise at 6'3" in the old money how do you find the tent height wise and how to you fit it in? Ie can it fit with rear seats up?

Ent, I am 6'1" and the 240 is ok both length and height. It will fit across the backseat, rear cargo floor aft of the wheel arches, on top of our top self of our storage system or on the roof rack. It is resonably bulky and weighs about 25kg, but is a quick and easy to use tent that is very comfortable for 2 when touring.

            Hi OJ

Thanks for that. Sounds like going to make it on the shopping list. The 300 is tempting but just the wrong size to fit well. Plan to fit it first thing when you open the hatch which the 240 does by the sounds of it but not the 300. Shorter brother going for the Oztent 30 second job, RV3 or RV4. Joys of long flat tray.

            Cheers
