Bulb replacement

Hi all looking for a bit of knowledge my bulb has blown in the auto gear selector display and wonder if there is an easy way to replace it without taking out the whole unit, looks like its a long job to do for just a bloody bulb also thinking of relpacing the bulb with white 12 v led lights my vehicle is a 1996 2.8 pajero v26 mk2 auto best regards from uk.

Over capitalized NK.I'm running out of things to add to it it died , now a SWB NJ with all the good stuff from the NK on it .
